Whether you're a fan of Star Wars, point & click games or even video games in general, it seems impossible not to know LucasArts, if only by name. A few months after the Arlesian Flashback '90, Oldies Rising and Côté Gamers are joining forces again for an even more ambitious project with LucasArts: The Chronicles.
Written by Emmanuel Babarit, co-author of Flashback '90, whose entire childhood was shaken by the studio's productions, this two-volume book proposes to review the history of this company, created in the early 1980s, until its closure in 2013. To better recount these exciting events, the choice has been made to closely interweave the key episodes in the life of Lucasfilm Games/LucasArts with those that shook the video game industry. How did the studio live through the 1983 crash? How did it manage the appearance of CD-ROM? How did it negotiate the transition to the third dimension and, in general, all the technological changes that occurred throughout its three decades of existence? In short, this is a whole section of the history of video games that we set out to discover through the prism of LucasArts, with countless incredible anecdotes and an astronomical amount of period documents, some of them still completely unpublished and revealed exclusively in this book!
Something like this was only possible thanks to the collaboration and availability of important people of the studio in its early days. You will also find interviews with the main protagonists of the company, who were kind enough to answer in detail all the questions asked, without the slightest hint of irony. Gary Winnick, David Fox, Noah Falstein, Steve Purcell, Peter Langston and even Jason Court are not to be overlooked in the completeness of this book and in the thrill of pleasure that its author felt in writing it, and that you will no doubt also feel in reading it!

In addition to the book, the box contains 2 illustrations in A4 format with the visuals of the box and the book. This will allow you to highlight the set under frames for example.
6 Bonus illustrations also reinvent the universe of various Point&Click from LucasArts. An original way to decorate your window dedicated to the firm or your Gaming Room.
This book has more than 460 pages in A4 format (with hard cover)
The paper weight is 130 grams.
The pages are 100% in colors.
